The Italian company AGCM has fined $12M for Apple claims about water resistance in the iPhone. Apple claimed that the iPhone can stay 30 minutes in a four-meter depth of water. But this is only possible under certain laboratory circumstances with pure water.
2 years before this fine also they have fined Apple and Samsung for throttling their older devices when new phones and OS are released.
