In June, Apple said that they will stop using the intel processors further which they had used since 2006. Where they have revealed its own chip based on their own design for the Mac computers.

The newly released computers include the versions of,
- 13in (33cm) MacBook Air, which no longer requires a fan to keep its processor cool
- 13in MacBook Pro, which Apple said can now play video for 20 hours on a single battery charge - twice as long as before. It keeps its fan
- Mac Mini screen-less desktop computer
They also further clarified that this will be only Macbook Air that will be manufactured in the present and future. But they will give an option to add intel chips in the other two machines.
This has been a good turnaround for Apple and Apple users providing many benefits.
